The SGM of Kanaighat Association UK was held on 6th November 2022 at 85 Bigland Street, East London.
Hafiz Maulana Ekhlasur Rahman recited from the Holy Quran at the beginning of the ceremony chaired by Chairperson Mr. Ajmal Ali and conducted by Secretary Mr. Zakaria Siddiqui.
In the meeting, the names of the 41-member full EC committee were proposed by the newly elected officials and unanimously accepted.

Note that the Kanighat Association UK BGM and Election was held on 2 October 2022 at 85 Bigland Street, East London. In this, Mr. Ajmal Ali, Secretary Mr. Zakaria Siddiqui and Treasurer Mr. Imad Uddin Rana were elected for the session 2022-2024 by direct vote of the members.
In the meeting, the proposal for inclusion of more new union-based members to increase the population and activities of the Kanighat Association was said to be considered later.
Mr. Izzat Ullah, the only advisor present in the meeting, called on everyone to give importance to tolerance in the light of the experience of running the association and gave a directive speech for the smooth running of this beloved organization in the future.
After the next EC meeting, the full EC committee with increased new members will be announced.
Islamic music in the voice of Maulana Abul Hasnat Chowdhury, the respected Imam of London’s Darul Ummah Mosque, delighted the audience. After dinner, the meeting was declared closed with a prayer. Last session’s secretary Mohammad Makhlishur Rahman led the prayers.
